Is It Possible

Today is my FRIDAY!!! WOOT. I’m really pleased to, because the next few days are supposed to be really warm and lovely. Finally, some decent weather on my days off. My plans are to clear everything out of the back of my truck so that I can run to my gramma’s and gather some pieces that I’ll be keeping. I’m looking forward to hearing the ‘gonging’ of the grandfather clock that I always loved hearing at my grandparents house growing up! In addition, my grandmother and I picked out a little front entry table and a small bistro like table and chairs. Since we picked them out together, and those shopping days were so lovely, I’ll be keeping those two pieces as well.

Other than that, I’m just looking forward to spending time lounging on my balcony and reading. YAY!!! I’ll be taking the before pictures of my ‘gardening’ and then when everything starts blooming … I’ll take some ‘after’ piccies. WEET!

I’ll probably take a couple of days off from blogging, I hardly do well with my off days and blogging anyway and it’ll give people a chance to get caught up from the weekend. (Where is everyone anyway?)

A side note: Some people that I work with get so agitated over the smallest of things! It’s quite funny to watch.

On with a funny …

Sheriff in a small town in Texas walks out in the street and sees a
blond haired cowboy coming toward him with nothing on but his cowboy hat, his gun and his boots. He arrests him for indecent exposure.

As he is locking him up, he asks ‘Why in the world are you walking
around like this?’

The cowboy says, ‘Well it’s like this Sheriff …

I was in this bar down the road and this pretty little red head asks me
to go out to her motor home with her.

So I did.

We go inside and she pulls off her top and asks me to pull off my
shirt… So I did.

Then she pulls off her skirt and asks me to pull off my pants…. So I
did.

Then she pulls off her panties and asks me to pull off my shorts….so I
did.

Then she gets on the bed and looks at me kind of sexy and says, ‘Now go to town cowboy..

“And here I am.”

Is It Possible

Is it possible
That so high debate,
So sharp, so sore, and of such rate,
Should end so soon and was begun so late?
Is it possible?

Is it possible
So cruel intent,
So hasty heat and so soon spent,
From love to hate, and thence for to relent?
Is it possible?

Is it possible
That any may find
Within one heart so diverse mind,
To change or turn as weather and wind?
Is it possible?

Is it possible
To spy it in an eye
That turns as oft as chance on die,
The truth whereof can any try?
Is it possible?

It is possible
For to turn so oft,
To bring that lowest which was most aloft,
And to fall highest yet to light soft:
It is possible.

All is possible
Whoso list believe.
Trust therefore first, and after preve,
As men wed ladies by licence and leave.
All is possible.

3 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
2 tablespoon sherry vinegar
1 shallot, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 cup mixed greens
1/2 pound each seedless green and red grapes, halved
1/4 cup sliced roasted almonds

Brightest Blessings,

Love the cowboy joke. I took pics of my garden too!! But I can’t seem to find the stupid USB cable to connect my camera to the computer. And to answer the question of the day: I treat my kids the way my mother treated us: I ground them when they are bad, I make them do chores and I am constantly correcting their grammar and spelling….lol funny isn’t it?~Autumn

I just picked up Fountainhead from the library book sale (just a quarter!). I haven’t started it yet, but I am looking forward to it.
